The Mayas were already aware of the special climatic conditions in the area around Santa Rosa de Copan, a region in Honduras close to the border with Guatemala and El Salvador, and cultivated tobacco there. Flor de Copán's award-winning cigars are handmade in the legendary factory ‘La Flor de Copán’, which was founded in 1976 by the famous Jorge Bueso and today continues the proud history and tradition of the country's oldest cigar factory, ‘La Real Factoría de Tabacos’ (1796).
Flor de Copán takes aficionados into the world of great Honduran premium cigars, whose tobaccos are harvested in the country's most exclusive regions. All formats of the Linea Clasica (except the Gordito) and the Linea Maduro are additionally wrapped in a fine cedar leaf, whose delicate aroma enriches the flavour and provides unmistakable enjoyment.
