"Even my grandfather made Perfecto cigars, which were very popular in the 20s, 30s and 40s. During my childhood and adolescence, the Perfectos were made by hand. But over time, there were fewer and fewer cigar manufacturers who mastered the perfecto rolling technique, cigar makers got older, retired and died, you had to be a real master of your craft to roll a real perfecto cigar.

As a child, I was fascinated by the shape and truly intricate craftsmanship that was so characteristic of the Perfecto cigar. When we came to the Dominican Republic in 1980, my first thought was that we should start making these formats again. At that time no one made cigars shaped like this. I wanted to revive this old world style to keep the art, tradition and craft alive.

Today we make a whole range of Perfecto cigars. These cigars are a very special treat for all lovers who enjoy smoking cigars just as much as we do. The Hemingway cigars hold a very special place in my heart and memories. I have fond memories of watching my grandfather make this format of cigar. It is therefore a great pleasure for me that these cigars are now being made again in our factory in the Dominican Republic. The Hemingway Perfecto is undoubtedly one of the most difficult cigars to make because of its size. The Hemingway blend, in which the filler and binder come from the Dominican Republic, together with a selected Cameroon wrapper, ensures rich, white clouds of smoke with a rich aroma. The workmanship is absolutely flawless and the burn is perfect.

Taste is an art in itself. Balanced and delicate – a maximum of finesse.
