The Balmoral Añejo XO welcomes a new line to its cigar family: The Balmoral Añejo XO Connecticut. It will take its place among the Balmoral Añejo XO und XO Oscuro. In this line of cigars, thevBalmoral Añejo XO Connecticut Blend has been crowned with a Connecticut River Valley wrapper. A binder of Sumatran tobacco, carefully chosen from the 1999 harvest, serves as a royal interlocutor. The filling itself is composed of five premium tobaccos. Among others, it comprises genuine Pennsylvania Type 41, Olor tobacco from the Dominican Republic and carefully selected Mata Norte tobacco from Brasil. The exceptionally high quality results from the intensely rigorous blending process. It combines the most outstanding qualities each tobacco has to offer.
"This line is remarkable for its completely harmonious palate. All the while maintaining the refined, sweet undertones characteristic for a Balmoral Añejo. It combines a creamy flavour with a natural sweet base of complex vanilla notes, roasted caramel and a hint of white pepper", says Boris Wintermans, CEO of Royal Agio Cigars.
The Balmoral Añejo XO Connecticut are, of course, made by hand. They are crafted in our boutique cigar workshop in San Pedro de Macorís, in the Dominican Republic.
