The brand name Montecristo is a homage to the famous novel "Count of Montecristo" by Alexandre Dumas. The Montecristo brand has existed since 1935 and is the Habanos standard worldwide.
With a length of 82 mm, the new Montecristo shorts are as short as a mini cigarillo, but with a diameter of 10.6 mm they are significantly larger. The same blend is used for the insert that is already being used successfully in the Montecristo Mini and Club. They taste like espresso with crema and little sugar, but also have the typical extra fine cocoa note – balanced and full-bodied.
Each of the 50 little delicacies is individually wrapped in cellophane to preserve the aroma. They are made exclusively in a Cuban premium factory and consist of 100% finest Cuban tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region.
