Like a triple espresso – that's what the Quintero Panetelas tastes like.
The Quintero is one of the few Habanos brands that did not originate in Cuba's capital, Havana. Its founder, Agustín Quintero, and his brother once established a manufactory in Cienfuegos, a city on the south coast known as the "Pearl of the South." However, then as now, all the tobaccos selected for Quintero came from the Vuelta Abajo region, home of tobacco that is considered among the best in the world.
Character of Quintero cigars
Quinteros have a characteristic, rough and quite strong tobacco taste, the earthy note is even more emphasized than, for example, Bolivar or Partagas. In addition, they have a strong grassy tone not found in Bolivar and Partags – this smoking sensation makes the Quintero unique. Not all formats are "totalmente a mano, tripa corta" (i.e. completely handmade short fillers) – the Brevas and Panetelas are machine-made.
