For the twelfth consecutive year, Davidoff is celebrating Chinese New Year with a specially crafted cigar and matching accessories. The "Year of the Dragon" Limited Edition 2024 sets the bar even higher for luxury products with its elegant box containing ten Double Corona cigars.

The entire top of the box displays a shimmering dragon scale pattern. The powerful "Year of the Dragon" symbol in the center holds a pearl symbolizing wisdom, prosperity and luck in Chinese culture. Inside the box, there is a wooden tray with two compartments for the cigars, separated by a red silk ribbon, symbolizing the dragon's tongue.

What does the "Year of the Dragon" Double Corona taste like?

The mighty dragon demands an equally impressive format. With a blend of eight tobacco varieties, this cigar is the largest creation among all previous "Year of" editions. The Double Corona features a striking footring that covers the uncut part of the cigar. This allows aficionados to enjoy the first 2 cm without the wrapper, creating a fascinating interplay of flavors and visualizing the fire-breathing dragon.

1/3: The uncut cigar foot provides 2 cm of enjoyment without the wrapper, with notes of earth, wood, and herbs. The flavor then transitions to rich notes of nuts, cream, and licorice.
2/3: The intensity increases, and notes of sweet honey, white pepper, and citrus dominate.
3/3: In the final third, notes of fresh spice and oak wood complement the dominant flavor of dark chocolate.
