For the 11^th time in a row, Davidoff is celebrating the Chinese New Year with a specially created cigar and matching accessories. With its smart box of ten Perfecto cigars, the "Year of the Rabbit" Limited Edition 2023 raises the bar for luxury products and their presentation even higher. 

The design of the painted exterior is reserved and elegant and does not yet reveal the depth that is hidden inside. The lid features the "Year of the Rabbit" symbol and the visibly highlighted "Year of the Rabbit" pattern depicting the gentle and consistent hopping of a rabbit. 

When opening the box, the first thing aficionados will find inside is a wooden panel of the same design, which protects the cigars and increases the excitement of the first unpacking. Under the panel, the inside of the box presents itself like a rabbit hole: the ten Perfecto cigars find space in interconnected subdivisions. 

Davidoff has chosen a perfecto format for the interpretation of this zodiac sign, as it is reminiscent of the ears of a rabbit. The format is completed with the pigtail head, a sign of the highest level of craftsmanship. 

Multi-layered blend 

The multi-layered blend, with its slowly revealing complexity, also perfectly reflects the rabbit's personality. This is due to the conical shape of the cigar. Seven different tobaccos, including filler tobaccos with an average age of 4.5 years, invite aficionados to discover the complexity of the cigar with pleasure. 

Limited edition 

This limited edition, which is eagerly awaited every year, will delight loyal aficionados and collectors. It is limited to 19.200 boxes worldwide, of which 1.150 boxes are available in the German market.

• 1/3: Shy at first, the expertly crafted Perfecto develops pronounced peppery notes balanced by flavors of toasted nuts and cream. 
• 2/3: Constantly changing flavor nuances show the complexity of the cigar. Leathery aromas and subtle notes of coffee and dried fruits develop in the second third. 
• 3/3: The intensity of the cigar increases slightly in the last third, but never overwhelms the palate. An additional cocoa sweetness mixed with cedar wood and fresh spices completes this masterpiece.
