The Gran Torpedo has a specific characteristic: If you cut it more lightly, the flavour gets stronger in equal measure. Thus it is suitable for aficionados of all tastes and preferences. Everyone can enjoy the smoking experience of one's own choosing.
The Yamasá Gran Torpedo is notable for its intensity and undercurrents of coffee, nuts, pepper and leather.
Flavour profile:
1/3: The Davidoff Yamasá Gran Torpedo begins with notes of pepper, wood and earth. They radiate from the Nicaraguan and Yamasá tobaccos. The cigar's intensity depends on how close to the head you cut the cap. The further away you cut, the stronger the cigar becomes.
2/3: As soon as the cigar built up temperature, aromas of nut and leather start to develop. A subtle sweetness starts replacing the peppery notes. Due to its ring gauge of 56, the Gran Torpedo is nicely balanced.
3/3: The last third rouses even more intensity in the Gran Torpedo Format. An increase in bitterness is nevertheless markedly absent. Aromas of spice, dark coffee and cedar wood dominate.
